Тип уроку:закріплення знань, умінь і навичок з елементами комп’ютерно орієнтованого навчання.

Цілі: закріпити лексику за темою уроку шляхом її активізації в усному мовленні, закріпити правила вживання The Present Simple Tense;формувати навички розуміння прослуханого й прочитаного текстів, учити учнів працювати з програмою

Microsoft Power Point;стимулювати потребу користуватись англійською мовою як засобом спілкування на між культурному рівні; розвивати творчий потенціал учнів;виховувати бережливе ставлення до природи.

Обладнання: комп’ютер, мультимедійний проектор , магнітофон, касети із записами “Пори року”, ілюстрації.

SEASONS AND WEATHER.

Speaking

· to use a new words in sentences and texts;

· to ask and answer the questions about seasons and weather;

· to describe the weather and to tell about favourite seasons using the prompts.

Listening

* to describe the weather and to tell about a favourite season using the prompts.

Reading

· to read the new words, phrases, sentences;

· to read the dialogues about the weather;

· to read and understand the texts about seasons and answer the questions according the texts.

Writing

· to write learnt words and phrases;

· to write the sentences using the tables;

· to write the answers on questions;

· to write a short text about seasons.

MODE:

Whole class-activity

· to answer the questions;

· to read new words and phrases;

· to read the poem;

· to listen to the poem;

· to make up sentences using the prompts and without them.

Group work

· to read texts about the certain season;

· to answer the questions according to the texts;

· to describe one season.

Pair work

· to ask each other the questions about season and weather and answer them;

· to read the dialogues;

· to make up own dialogue using the example.

Individual work

· to find the name of seasons;

· to make up sentences with the help of the table;

· to listen to the poem and draw the season that this poem describes;

· to describe the favourite season;

· to write the test “How well I know about seasons and weather”.

PROCEDURE

* The lesson start from telling the theme and the game “ Word association”,

where the pupils say the words that they know and associate with theme

“Seasons and weather”.

· Presentation Microsoft Power Point.

· The teacher shows different pictures asking the questions “What season is it?” and the pupils need to answer.

· Game “Guess which season it is. In pairs one pupil tries to guess what season was thought by his friend asking questions “Is it…?”

· The pupils try to find the name of season.(Addition 1)

· The pupils make up sentences with the help of the table. Then using this table they try to describe the weather .(Addition 2)

· In pairs pupils read the dialogue and then they make up their own by the example. (Addition 3)

· The pupils in pairs fill the table about the seasons and weather. (Addition 4)

· In groups the pupils answer the questions and then describe this season to the rest of the form. (Addition 5,6,7,8)

· The pupils write the test “How well I know about seasons and weather”. (Addition 9)
